HELMET:

Our helmets come in 2 ways: Steel or Plastic.

STEEL HELMET

Actual steel pot helmet converted to a Marine helmet just like they did it in the movie. All helmet parts (ear flap, camera, and frontal lobe plate) are riveted, or screwed THROUGH the steel. In other words, they are not going to fall off. The helmet also has an accurate resin cast camera lens, and the two lobster plates hanging off the back of the helmet. The lobster plate strapping is also threaded THROUGH the steel, as opposed to just riveted to the liner. The ear flap, camera and lens are cast in durable resin. The ear flap has a donut cushion for your ear, and an accurate microphone and boom. Also, the camera lens can be unscrewed and a real Pentax lens can be attached in its place in under 30 seconds with no tools.

PLASTIC HELMET

We now also offer a plastic version of the Steel Pot helmet. This light weight version is more comfortable to wear, costs a little less, but looks almost exactly the same! Check out the pics. The real steel helmet is on the left, and the Plastic one is on the right. The Steel Pot helmet weighs 4 lbs 1 oz, while the Plastic one weighs only 2 lbs 1.6 oz.

Please note that the helmets will no longer automatically come with a helmet liner.  They're getting harder to find as they become more rare (they're not being made anymore!).  This will also help some of our Marines who have really large heads!  I'll be posting a tutorial to show how to pad and wear the helmets without a liner.  It's quick, easy, and saves you a few bucks!

We also offer optional Chin Straps.  These are accurate, Vietnam style Chin Straps that are usually surplus, or unissued straps.  If you order a Steel Helmet with a Chin Strap, it will be attached to your helmet when it ships.  If you order a Plastic Helmet, the Chin Straps will be in the package and you will have to install them yourself.  I'll post a tutorial soon on how to do it!

UPPER BODY ARMOR:

All pieces are fully painted and have the metal scratch marks all over them to make them look used. All pieces are padded, or lined to prevent scratching the other armor pieces, or your skin. All the armor parts are vac-u-formed in .100 gauge black HIPS (High Impact PolyStyrene), which is very strong and durable, while being really light and comfortable. The armor comes fully assembled, painted, strapped and is ready to wear out of the box. You will not find a better deal on armor anywhere! The armor does NOT come in kit form. Comes painted in Flat Black, Dark Green, Dark Green with airbrushed camo pattern (Spataflage), or Movie Camo. Fully adjustable to fit just about anyone. I personally have seen the armor fit perfectly on someone 6'2" tall, 270 pounds, and onto someone 5'2" tall, 105 pounds.

Includes the Grenade Straps, a Pistol Belt, and has the Back Brackets already installed!

AB PAD:

Comes in either Regular or Large sizes. The Regular Pad is 13" wide, and 21 " tall, and the Large is 15" wide, and 23 " tall.

Basically, if you normally wear small, medium, large or XL clothes, the Regular Ab Pad is for you.  If you wear an XXL or are over 6'5" tall, the Large is probably best for you.

LEG ARMOR:

Knee, calf and shin armor with "rubber gasket".  Padded and ready to wear!  Please remember that these are not meant to be used for real knee protection.

Comes in 3 different sizes, Regular, Tall and Short.

Regular has a 13.5" tall shin.

Tall has a 16" tall shin.

Short has a 12" tall shin.

Measure from the top of your foot to just under your knee cap to see what size you need.

THROAT GUARD:

The Throat Guard was made for use in the film, but never made it to screen.  It's a great little addition for your costume that can be worn closed, or unhooked and left to dangle off your armor.

Made from the same high quality plastic as the rest of the armor, the throat guard includes a strap that goes around your neck as well as a strap loop to attach to the Chest Armor in case you want to let the guard dangle!

SPULSE RIFLE:

The M41-A Spulse Rifle (SpatCave Pulse Rifle) is cast in high quality black resin.  It comes in multiple parts that assemble easily with simple tools (drill, screws, glue, sandpaper) and will make an amazing addition to your collection! 

Comes with a working trigger, which can be wired to a count down counter (not included).
