VP-70 Prop Kit

Instructions

Supplies Needed:

Sandpaper (light grit)

Primer

Flat Black Spray Paint

Silver Paint

Matte Clear Coat Spray Paint

Flat Clear Coat Spray Paint

Glue (Crazy Glue or any type of CA+ glue)

Here's what you get in the box.
Wash the kit in warm, soapy water and let air dry.
Lightly sand kit and clean up the seam lines. If there are any air bubbles or imperfections on the kit, fill with Model Putty and when dry, sand smooth. Be sure to sand the kit in a well ventilated area as resin dust may be harmful.

Prime the kit. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry. To save a step, I primed it with Flat Black Primer. If you used another color Primer, then after it dries, paint the kit with Flat Black paint.
Paint the grip with a Matte Clear. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry.

Paint the barrel with a Flat Clear. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry.
Score the two parts to be glued together to give the glue something to grab onto.
Glue the 2 halves together. I like to use a clamp to hold them together while the glue dries.

I use some silver paint to detail the kit and make the metal parts look a little chipped. Otherwise, you're all done!

A very simple resin kit that needs just a little clean-up and some paint to make a very nice display piece for every fan!
