If you've
been to a Sci Fi Convention over the last few years, you've probably
met or seen Rick Biggs. If you're a fan of Babylon 5, you know him as
Dr. Stephen Franklin. Ever the consumate professional, and ever the
nicest guy to sit and have a drink with, Sci-Fi fandom, and Convention
life has been forever diminshed due to his passing.
Richard
Biggs passed away on Saturday, May 22nd, 2004.
That
night, we were at Wizard World Philly Convention, and decided to hold
a "Geek Wake" as we called it. Basically, we went out drinking
and brouht with us a picture of Richard, bought him a beer, and just
told stories and memories of the times hanging out with him.

you will find the pictures from the night. Feel free to e-mail me with
any stories you might have of meeting or knowing Richard Biggs, and
I'll post them here.
We tried very hard
that night not to consider it a loss, as our lives we touched by knowing
him. And as long as we keep those wonderful memories alive, he's not
truly gone.
