Here's
what you need. Helmet Cover and a Helmet! |
Flip the hemet
over and remove the liner. |
Find the screws
that hold the camera in place and remove them. |
Take the camera
off and set it aside with the screws. |
Soak the Helmet
Cover in water. This will help you stretch it and also, when it
dries it will contour to the helmet even more. |
Slip the Helmet
Cover on the helmet. Remember, the seam runs right down the center.
Slide it all the way down over the straps in the back of
the Helmet. |
Tuck the Cover
around the Ear Flap. |
Mark where the
holes for the Camera Screws are. |
Place the camera
on the outside of the Helmet and screw it back in place. |
Place the liner
back in place. You can hot glue the Cover in place to prevent it
from pulling out of place over time. |
And you're done!! |
If you want
to do some extra weathering on it, you can leave it out in the sun,
or wash it a few times to weather it. You can also rub all the raised
helmet bits with sandpaper through the Cover. |
