So,
you want to make your own helmet (or upgrade an existing one)? Here
are all the items I offer that will help you do that!
Camera
Kit.
Here's a casting of the camera body and lens for your hemet. Just screw
it to the helmet from the inside (or glue it on) and you're all set.
You can use the included camera lens, or replace it with a real one.
Microphone
Kit. These are cast
in an aluminum resin (same as my Silver Grenades). Just buff them with
0000 Steel Wook and they'll shine like metal!
Ear Flap
Kit. If you need a
home for your new microphone, here it is! Cast off a real Ear Defender,
we added the armor plates (so you don't have to!). It's hollow inside
for housing your microphone boom, and even has a slot in it for running
a chin strap if you want.
The mic tips are
easy to install onto a 1/16" tube (or the older 1/4" ones
from my older helmets).
Just drill out holes
in the tips to the correct size of your mic tube.
Optionally, you can
also drill out the back tip to run a wire through.
Glue the tips to
the boom.
Glue a wire in the
back and run it to somewhere under the lobster plates.
Put some black fabric
or felt on the mic tip and you're all set!
