Gerber MK II Prop Kit

Instructions

Supplies Needed:

X-Acto Knife

Primer

Flat Black Spray Paint

Silver Paint

Matte Clear Coat Spray Paint

Here's what you get in the box.
Wash the kit in warm, soapy water and let air dry.
Lightly sand kit and clean up the seam lines. Carefully use the X-Acto knife to trim off any flash. You can also just use your finger nails. The rubber is pretty easy to remove. Be sure to sand the kit in a well ventilated area as resin dust may be harmful.

Prime the kit. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry. To save a step, I primed it with Flat Black Primer. If you used another color Primer, then after it dries, paint the kit with Flat Black paint. This is really an optional step. You can easily just clear coat it without painting it, since it's in black anyway.
Paint the kit with a Matte Clear. Be sure to paint ONLY in a well ventilated area. Allow paint to thoroughly dry.

I detailed the blade edges with silver paint. And you're all done!

A very simple kit that needs just a little clean-up and some paint to make a very nice display piece for every fan!
